Apleona named amongst the top 5% of UK security providers

Apleona HSG Facility Management UK is officially ranked in the top 5% of UK security providers, after passing a rigorous industry-leading examination with flying colours.

The UK security team recently completed the first of three National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Guarding Gold and Security Industry Authority (SIA) Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) audits for 2019.

The audit commenced at Colworth Science Park in Bedfordshire, where Apleona delivers security services on behalf of a number of clients. A further audit was completed at the company’s London head office, concluding with an ACS scoring session for 2019/20. 

As a result, Apleona achieved a score of 162 out of the highest possible score of 172, which places the company in the top 5% of all UK security providers.

The NSI is the leading certification body for the security and fire protection sectors in the UK. They operate a two-tier approach to approvals, with the Gold level designed for companies wishing to meet the industry’s highest standards

The SIA ACS has been designed in consultation with representatives from across the industry, and approval is not only a source of confidence for buyers of security services, but it also provides a framework for setting, improving and monitoring our own standards.
